The Company
1967 the Textil Elettrochimica has been created by Franco Carrozza in partnership with two colleagues. All of them was coming from a company that introduced in the world wide market the spray cleaning system for textile industries.
1969 the first partner leaves the company and remained two of them. Created the combination spray gun – exhaust fan , and the first prototype of exhaust fan called Aertex that completed all the equipment. In the meantime the first cleaning liquids have been created with the brand name Minor, Special and Major. These 3 brands have represented for many years an ideal solution for all the kinds of working spots, so the system has become famous on domestic and international markets, making easy the cleaning operation on fabrics both in cotton and wool , making also faster the working procedures.
1970 starts the selling and manufacturing of tag pins to be fastened on ready garments with tag guns, this system replaced the old thread in cotton and makes much more fast the working procedures
1976 Franco Carrozza becomes the only owner of Textil Elettrochimica as the last partner retired.
1979 Franco Carrozza creates the ITD International Textil Diffusion as there has been the necessity to sell other new products and many other accessories for the textile industry. Woven labels and cutting accessories have been added to the several products and to the tag pins and guns, already existing on that time on the ITD catalogue.
1979 was born the ITD France with location in the neighborhood of Paris, with the aim to cover the French, Belgian and Luxembourger market.
1983 new warehouses have been opened in Veneto region, in the province of Vicenza and in Tuscany region in Prato. This to be always closer to the customers’ needs.

1986 he range of products increases adding items for cutting rooms and with the distribution of Wolf American cutting machines and Takaoka Japanese cloth spreaders.
1987 another new warehouse has been opened in province of Ancona in Montemarciano to give a faster service to the customers in Marche, Abruzzo and Umbria regions.
1990/92 Daniele Carrozza and immediately after Claudia Carrozza, sons of the creator of the company, enter the board of directors with the father.
1996 The new system LOT 120 has been introduced in the range of tag pins, including high quality tag pins and ITD 120 tag guns unique in their kind and ductility.
1997 in the point of view of the European expansion, this year was a new office ITD Denmark was born in Copenhagen to coordinate the sales in north of Europe.
1998 created the new family Packaging, under the direction of Mariangela Chinellato, with lines of suit covers, garment bags, shoppers, shirt bags, pullover bags and whatever could contain a high class garment and/or accessory. Made with many kind of materials classic style or trendy to produce accessories always more elegant and complete.
1999 ITD got the UNI EN ISO 9002 certification for the quality of the company.
2000 under the direction of Maurizio Pesapane a new successful family has been created, the Machinery division dealing with thermo transfer printers, ribbon and printing tapes.
2001 Daniele Carrozza takes the direction of ITD France and in the same period in Notaresco (TE) opening of a new warehouse to take charge of the customers in Abruzzo region.
2002 Isabel Carrozza enters the board of directors with his father and brothers Claudia and Daniele.
2003 enlargement of the accessories division with products to complete the range of shirts and underwear finishing with hook and eyes tapes, special packaging and so on. Big success the introduction also of the easy to tear tape.
2004 ITD Romania was born in Iasi, with an opening of a new headquarter. In the same year was born the project of the production of the printer Trilogy, suitable to print on polyester tapes resisting to all kinds of washings and dyeing.
2005starts the product called V Tool, a particular tag gun to fasten the tags with security loops.
2006 starts another new product called Amos, a tag gun to fasten the tags with security rayon or cotton strings loops.
2007 fortification of machinery division with Trilogy printer with Mauro Ballini as technical director, fortification also of the shirt accessories division directed by Claudia Carrozza and Alessandro Zanotto.
2008 opening of the new company called Termotex in Tunisia Monastir organized by Alessandro Zanotto who becomes the responsible, in the meantime becomes part of ITD family Maurizio Casari as director of the woven labels and tags department.
2009 another branch of ITD is opened in Turchia, precisely in Istanbul organized by Maurizio Casari and in the meantime opening of the new headquarters in Hong Kong ITD Asia and Dong Guan ITD China in the south of the country.
